The Natural Life Museum and adjacent Oishi Park in the Oishi district on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchiko offer the broadest and most expansive views of Mount Fuji and the entire lake. From the grassy meadow on the shore, Mount Fuji rises unobstructed directly ahead, and on a clear summer afternoon, the blue lake and lush green slopes create vivid contrast. The facility sells local agricultural products, local jam, and processed foods—perfect for a casual stop and rest. Since this northern shore location is opposite the fireworks venue across the lake, enjoying the spectacular scenery here at leisure and then moving to the venue area before evening makes for smooth timing.

2026年8月5日(水)19時45分から20時40分にかけて、河口湖畔船津浜を会場に約10,000発が打ち上げられます。最大の特徴は、富士山のシルエットを背景にした夜空へ開く花火と、静かな湖面に映し出される逆さ花火が同時に楽しめることです。山あいの湖は音の反響も大きく、花火の爆音が体に響く迫力も格別。約55分にわたる大会は、スターマインや尺玉など多彩なプログラムで構成され、フィナーレの連発は湖面と夜空を一面に染め上げます。富士山と湖と花火が揃う、河口湖ならではの夏の絶景です。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は富士河口湖町観光連盟などの公式情報で当日必ず確認を。終了後は周辺道路と河口湖駅が大変混雑するため、時間差での帰宅がおすすめです。湖畔から駅まで徒歩の場合は足元が暗い区間があるため、ライトを活用してください。帰りの富士急行線の時刻も事前に確認しておきましょう。

About 5 minutes by car east from the Kawaguchiko Herb Museum, or a short walk from the Oishi bus stop. Both admission and parking are free. You can sit on the grass to rest, making this an ideal spot to recharge before the evening viewing.

Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. The full panorama of Mount Fuji and lake appears most beautiful in the afternoon when the blue sky and lake surface are glimmering.
