About this spot

A municipal urban park loved by residents, located in the central part of Kakamigahara City. With vast lawns spread across the grounds, the sense of openness where children can run around is exceptional. You can also relax in the shade of trees and enjoy lunch on benches. This is the ideal starting point for the afternoon before the fireworks display. The play equipment area is well-equipped, enjoyable for children of all ages from toddlers to elementary school students. The green surroundings keep shaded areas cool even in mid-summer, making it a perfect spot to relax and prepare for afternoon sightseeing. It's also close to the Ogase Pond venue, allowing for a smooth flow throughout the day.

おがせ池夏まつりのフィナーレを飾る花火大会は、2026年7月18日(土)19時30分の打ち上げ開始です。池の上空に次々と開く約1,000〜1,500発は、水面に鮮やかな色を映しながら夏の夜空を染め上げます。大きな湖や海の花火大会とは異なる、こぢんまりとした池ならではの距離感で見る花火は迫力と親しみやすさを兼ね備えており、地元の家族連れが集う温かい雰囲気の中で楽しめます。夏まつりのにぎわいと、打ち上がるたびに池面に広がる光の輪が重なる40分間は、1日の締めくくりにふさわしいクライマックスです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は各務原市の公式発表または大会主催者の情報で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が混み合います。急がず余韻を楽しみながら、少し時間をおいてから移動するのがおすすめです。帰り道は足元が暗い場所もあるので、スマホのライトや小型ライトを用意しておきましょう。

Tips

The nearest bus stop is in front of Kakamigahara City Hall. Free parking is available. On the day of the fireworks, parking lots around the venue fill up from evening onward, so it's helpful to check parking availability beforehand. Be sure to take all trash with you when picnicking on the grass.
