A hill of about 173m in elevation that rises along the Kiso River (木曽川), affectionately known to locals as Owari Fuji (尾張冨士). The promenade, maintained from the foot of the mountain along the river, has a gentle slope, making it manageable even with small children in tow. A walk surrounded by the flow of the Kiso River (木曽川) and green trees makes a perfect change of pace after visiting the museum. From the elevated area, the wide surface of the Kiso River (木曽川) and the scenery of Aichi Prefecture (愛知県) on the opposite bank spread out before you, and the cool breeze before evening makes for a pleasant moment. Use it as a good warm-up walk before the fireworks show.
Tips
About 10-15 minutes by car from Ogase Pond (おがせ池). Parking space at the foot of the mountain is available. No serious hiking gear is needed, but since the summer sun is strong, bring a hat and something to drink. It's a season with lots of mosquitoes and insects, so it's a good idea to start using insect repellent spray from this point on.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour. The time before evening, when the sunlight filtering through the trees shines beautifully on the river's surface, is especially lovely
