About this spot
A National Scenic Area centered on Ohi Lake (大井湖), an artificial lake created by the construction of the Ohi Dam in the Taisho era, with fantastic rock formations carved by the Kiso River waters lining both banks. From the sightseeing boat, you can enjoy towering rock walls over 10 meters high and gorge scenery covered with trees from the water level. Each rock formation has a name, and the approximately 20-minute boat journey while listening to guide commentary entertains both children and adults. Tonight's fireworks will burst above this very water surface, and comparing the peaceful daytime lake with the evening fireworks display is a unique pleasure of this course.

恵那納涼水上花火大会は、大井湖の水面から打ち上げられる約2,000発の花火が、両岸に迫る峡谷の岩壁に音を反響させながら夜空を彩る、夏の恵那の風物詩です。2026年7月25日(土)19時30分から20時30分まで開催されます。水面すれすれから上がる水上花火ならではのダイナミックな演出と、湖面に映る逆さ花火の幻想的な美しさは、平地の花火大会とは別格のスケール感。山あいの閉じた空間に花火の光と音が満ちる体験は、一度見たら忘れられない夏の記憶になります。
Tips
荒天や増水時は中止になる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は恵那市の公式発表を必ず確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路と駐車場が大変混雑します。帰りの車や電車の時刻を事前に調べ、フィナーレ後は少し余韻を楽しんでから帰宅するのがおすすめです。足元が暗くなるため、ライトを持参してください。

The Enakyo sightseeing boat boarding area is located within Enakyo Park. On fireworks festival day, tourists increase from afternoon onward, so boarding early is recommended. Cruising time is approximately 20–25 minutes. Strong sunlight on the water, so don't forget a hat and sunscreen. The boat may not operate during rainy weather or high water, so check operational status in advance.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour and 45 minutes required. Afternoon sunlight beautifully highlights the rock surface, creating wonderful contrast with the blue lake waters.
