A rest area along the clear waters of the Ibigawa River in the Fujihashi district of Ibigawa Town. The farm shop corner, lined with vegetables, fruits, and locally processed goods grown in the Western Mino mountain villages, is popular with locals and allows you to take home seasonal bounty as-is. The restaurant serves hearty set meals typical of the Ibigawa mountain villages, making it ideal as the first proper meal before viewing the fireworks. The grounds, where you can hear the sound of the river's rapids, also have shaded areas where you can relax and prepare yourself before departure. The midday hours spent overlooking the Ibigawa from the rest area naturally build anticipation for tonight's riverside fireworks.

2026年8月1日(土)19時45分から20時30分まで、揖斐川河川敷(前島橋上流)を会場に開催される「いびがわの祭りありがとう花火」です。地域への感謝を込めて名付けられた大会で、約2,500発の花火が揖斐川の夜空を彩ります。川沿いの会場では打ち上げ場所が近く、頭上いっぱいに広がる花火の迫力と音の響きは格別。静かな川面に映り込む光のゆらめきが、打ち上げ花火と呼応して河川敷ならではの立体的な美しさを生み出します。西美濃の山々に囲まれた揖斐川の夜空に次々と開く大輪は、昼間に歩いた谷汲山や揖斐川の自然と重なり合い、1日の旅の記憶をひとつに結びつけるクライマックスです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表や揖斐川町の案内で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が混雑するため、フィナーレ後は河川敷でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。帰路の足元は暗いため小さなライトがあると安全です。

Tips

Located along National Route 417, about 20 minutes by car from the center of Ibigawa Town. The parking lot is spacious. Early entry is recommended on Saturday mornings when the restaurant is expected to be crowded. Farm products tend to sell out by evening, so if you have specific items in mind, this is the time to visit.
