The Ibigawa riverbed upstream from Maejima Bridge is tonight's fireworks launch venue. Once you've secured your spot in the early evening, spread out your packed dinner or food from nearby food stalls and leisurely wait for the show to begin. As sunset light hits both banks of the river, the water's surface transforms to orange and purple—another highlight before the fireworks start. 2026年8月1日(土)19時45分から20時30分まで、揖斐川河川敷(前島橋上流)を会場に開催される「いびがわの祭りありがとう花火」です。地域への感謝を込めて名付けられた大会で、約2,500発の花火が揖斐川の夜空を彩ります。川沿いの会場では打ち上げ場所が近く、頭上いっぱいに広がる花火の迫力と音の響きは格別。静かな川面に映り込む光のゆらめきが、打ち上げ花火と呼応して河川敷ならではの立体的な美しさを生み出します。西美濃の山々に囲まれた揖斐川の夜空に次々と開く大輪は、昼間に歩いた谷汲山や揖斐川の自然と重なり合い、1日の旅の記憶をひとつに結びつけるクライマックスです。

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表や揖斐川町の案内で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が混雑するため、フィナーレ後は河川敷でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。帰路の足元は暗いため小さなライトがあると安全です。

Congestion increases after dusk, so it's safest to secure your viewing spot by 6:00 PM at the latest. Nearby parking lots fill quickly, so check public transportation or temporary parking lot information in advance. Use the restroom early as facilities become crowded.
