Approximately 2,500 Fireworks Light Up the Night Sky Above the Ibigawa, with Reflections on the Water Surface

About this spot

The "Ibigawa Festival Thank You Fireworks," held at the Ibigawa riverbed (upstream from Maejima Bridge) from 7:45 PM to 8:30 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Named to express gratitude to the community, this event features approximately 2,500 fireworks lighting up the night sky above the Ibigawa. With the launch site close to the riverside venue, the spectacle and sound of fireworks blooming overhead are extraordinary. Light shimmering on the quiet water's surface resonates with the launched fireworks, creating a three-dimensional beauty unique to riverside viewing. The large blooms opening successively in the night sky above the Ibigawa, surrounded by Western Mino mountains, merge with memories of Tanigumi-san and the Ibigawa's natural beauty walked during the day, forming a climax that brings your entire day's journey together.
