About this spot

On the evening of the fireworks festival, food stalls and vendors line the area around Hinase Port, heightening the festive atmosphere. The local specialty is kakioko (oyster okonomiyaki). Though different from the oyster season in autumn and winter, stalls and okonomiyaki restaurants during the Bon holiday period offer local summer cuisine. The time when the sun sets and the Seto Inland Sea glows in sunset colors is when the harbor scenery is most beautiful for the entire day. Spread out a picnic mat to secure a fireworks viewing spot while enjoying your dinner in the sea breeze. Since stalls often sell out quickly, it's recommended to make your purchases by around 6 PM.

ひなせみなとまつりのクライマックスを飾る花火大会です。2026年8月13日(木)20時から20時40分まで、JR日生駅前港から約2,500発が打ち上がります。穏やかな瀬戸内海を舞台に開く花火は、海面にも鮮やかな光を映し、港町の夏祭りならではの情緒があります。漁港と島々を背景にした開放的な景観の中で見る花火は、家族みんなの夏の記憶に深く刻まれることでしょう。約40分間のプログラムが終わったら、潮の香りが漂う夜の港でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから帰路につきましょう。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は備前市または大会主催者の公式発表で当日確認してください。終了後はJR日生駅や周辺道路が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はすぐに移動せず、少し時間をおいてから動くと混雑を避けやすくなります。足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマホのライトや小型ライトを活用して安全に帰りましょう。

Tips

The JR Hinase Station front harbor area, which is the fireworks venue, will be extremely crowded on the day. Good viewing spots begin to fill up around 6 PM, so secure your location by 6:30 PM at the latest. Use restrooms beforehand and check the location of temporary facilities at the venue. Prepare plenty of drinks and don't forget heat-stroke prevention measures.
