This is the fireworks display that forms the climax of the Hinase Minato Matsuri. From 8:00 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026, about 2,500 fireworks launch from the harbor in front of JR Hinase Station. Set against the calm Seto Inland Sea, the fireworks cast vivid light on the water's surface too, giving them the special charm of a harbor-town summer festival. Watching the fireworks amid the open scenery backed by the fishing port and islands is sure to leave a deep impression in the whole family's summer memories. After the roughly 40-minute program ends, enjoy the lingering atmosphere for a while in the night harbor, filled with the scent of the sea, before heading home.

Tips

Check on the day of the event, through official announcements from Bizen City or the festival organizer, whether the show will go ahead in case of bad weather. Afterward, JR Hinase Station and the surrounding roads become very crowded. Rather than moving right after the finale, waiting a little while helps you avoid the worst of the crowds. Some areas underfoot get dark, so use your phone's flashlight or a small light to get home safely.
