Events held on both August 1 (Saturday) and August 2 (Sunday), each day from 8:15 PM to 9:00 PM. In case of severe weather, the event may be cancelled or postponed; check the official Matsue Suigo Festival announcement for current information on the day. After the display ends, the route from the Shinji Lake shore back to Matsue Station becomes very congested. Lingering briefly at the lakeside after the finale before departing will be more comfortable. Some areas are dimly lit, so carrying a small light is reassuring.
