It's also a perfect spot to gaze toward where fireworks will light up Hamada Harbor tonight and build anticipation for tonight's display. 浜田みなとまつり花火大会は、浜田漁港7号岸壁周辺を会場に開催される、浜田市の夏の夜を代表する祭りの花火です。港を舞台に打ち上がる花火は、背後の山並みと目の前に広がる日本海の両方を背景に夜空を彩ります。漁港ならではの開けた空間で花火を正面に見られるのが魅力で、海風に乗って届く打ち上げ音は港町の夏の迫力を存分に伝えてくれます。フィナーレが夜空を照らす瞬間は、この1日のすべての締めくくりにふさわしい光景です。

開催可否は荒天時に変更・中止となる場合があるため、浜田市または大会公式の発表を当日に確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路や駐車場が混雑します。花火終了後は少し時間をおいてから移動するか、徒歩圏内に駐車している場合は混雑が落ち着いてから車に戻るのがおすすめです。足元は暗くなるので、スマホのライトを準備しておきましょう。

About 10 minutes by car from Hamada City center. Parking space available. For swimming, follow on-site safety signs and lifeguard instructions. Since sand easily gets into shoes, wearing easy-to-remove sandals is convenient. Leave the beach before evening to prepare for dinner near the fishing port.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 20 minutes required. Late afternoon when the slanting light shimmers across the sea surface is the most beautiful time.
