A beautiful sandy beach within walking distance north of Nima Sand Museum, selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Beaches by the Ministry of the Environment. Its most distinctive feature is the "singing sand" – walking on the beach produces a squeaking sound. This occurs because the quartz sand is kept in a clean state, making it a known valuable location throughout Japan. The contrast between the white sandy beach and the blue Sea of Japan is beautiful, and a summer afternoon walk in the sea breeze is a refreshing experience. 2026年7月18日(土)20時30分から開催の、仁摩サンドミュージアム夏まつりのフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。約1,000発の花火が仁摩健康公園の夜空を彩る15分間は、世界最大級の砂時計を擁するガラスのピラミッドを背景に大輪の花火が開く、ここだけの光景が広がります。日本海に近い大田市の夜風の中、砂の博物館と花火が織りなす夏まつりの夜は、家族の夏の記憶に深く刻まれるひとときです。コンパクトながらも見応えのある打ち上げで、短い時間に凝縮された迫力をぜひ芝生から全身で感じてください。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は大田市または仁摩サンドミュージアムの公式発表で事前に確認してください。終了後は駐車場や仁万駅への帰路が混み合うため、フィナーレ後は少し余韻を楽しんでから動き出すと混雑を避けやすいです。足元が暗くなるため、スマートフォンのライトや小型ライトを準備しておきましょう。

About 10 minutes on foot from Nima Sand Museum. For the singing sand to produce sound, the sand should be dry; walking on the sand above the waterline makes the sound more likely to occur. Please refrain from taking sand away for singing sand conservation purposes. While swimming is possible, please check the designated swimming areas and time periods with local information.
Best time to visit
Takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. On sunny afternoons, the sand dries and the singing sand sounds are more easily heard.
