Mino Health and Disaster Prevention Park (三野健康防災公園), spreading across the floodplain of the Yoshino River, is one of the main viewing venues for the Nishi-Awa Fireworks Festival. It features vast open grassy areas and an open atmosphere with views across the river toward Mima City's side. Since viewing crowds begin gathering about two hours before the fireworks begin, it's best to arrive around 5 PM to secure a good spot. Enjoy dinner while taking in the hustle and bustle of food stalls, then all that's left is to wait for the night sky to deepen. Along the Yoshino River in November, nighttime temperatures drop significantly, so take time now to prepare for the cold.

2026年11月14日(土)19時から21時にかけて開催される、にし阿波の花火大会です。三好市・三野健康防災公園と美馬市・美馬リバーサイドパークを会場に、吉野川の広い川幅を舞台に約20,000発が夜空に打ち上げられます。川の両岸からダイナミックに展開する花火は、川面に映る光の帯とともに圧倒的なスケールを生み出します。11月の澄み切った秋の夜空は視界が遮られるものが少なく、花火の色と輝きがひときわ鮮明に見えるのが晩秋開催ならではの魅力です。山あいの静寂を破る轟音と光のクライマックスは、家族の記憶に長く残る一夜になるはずです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表を当日必ず確認してください。終了後は駐車場からの退出・帰路の道路が非常に混雑します。終了後しばらく会場や周辺でゆっくりしてから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。11月の吉野川沿いは21時には気温が10℃以下になることもあるため、防寒対策を万全に整えて観覧してください。
