Mino Health and Disaster Prevention Park (三野健康防災公園), spreading across the floodplain of the Yoshino River, is one of the main viewing venues for the Nishi-Awa Fireworks Festival. It features vast open grassy areas and an open atmosphere with views across the river toward Mima City's side. Since viewing crowds begin gathering about two hours before the fireworks begin, it's best to arrive around 5 PM to secure a good spot. Enjoy dinner while taking in the hustle and bustle of food stalls, then all that's left is to wait for the night sky to deepen. Along the Yoshino River in November, nighttime temperatures drop significantly, so take time now to prepare for the cold.

Tips

On fireworks festival day, surrounding roads become congested. Early arrival and advance parking confirmation are strongly recommended. Restrooms in the venue get crowded, so it's best to use them early before the show starts. For food and drink, use food stalls around the venue or bring food provisions purchased in advance for reliability.
