The area around the station gets busy from daytime on the day of the Oidenmatsuri Festival, so it's a good idea to stroll around here before the crowds build up.

Right by Meitetsu Toyotashi Station (名鉄豊田市駅) and Shin-Toyota Station on the Aichi Loop Line (愛知環状鉄道新豊田駅). Since the area around the shopping streets also gets crowded on the day of the Oidenmatsuri Festival, finishing dinner early during this time slot makes things easier before the fireworks. This is also a reliable time to pick up items at a convenience store or get drinks.
