Located in the northern part of Toyota City, Kura-ga-Ike Park is a public park with vast nature spread around Kura-ga-Ike Pond. The walking paths around the pond are rich with greenery and provide relatively cool shade even in summer. The park features family-friendly animal interaction zones and botanical gardens, making it enjoyable for both children and adults. Refreshing yourself in nature before heading to the fireworks venue allows you to enjoy the long evening with renewed energy. The changing colors of the sky reflected on the pond surface as evening approaches is another highlight.

豊田おいでんまつり花火大会は、豊田市最大の夏まつり「おいでんまつり」のフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。矢作川河畔の白浜公園一帯を会場に、夜空に大輪の花火が次々と開きます。川沿いという立地を活かした尺玉や連発、水面近くで開く花火など、川花火ならではの演出が楽しめます。豊田市民に長く愛されてきた夏の風物詩で、まつりの踊りや音楽で高まった熱気がそのまま花火観覧の興奮へとつながります。矢作川の川音と夏の夜風の中で聴く打ち上げ音は格別で、フィナーレの連発が夜空を埋め尽くす瞬間は1日の記憶に深く刻まれます。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は豊田市の公式発表で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路と公共交通機関が大変混雑します。帰りは終了後すぐに動かず、河畔でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから混雑が落ち着いたころに移動するのがおすすめです。帰り道は足元が暗いため小さなライトがあると安心です。

Car or bus access is convenient from Toyota Station. The park is free, but some facilities may charge fees, so please confirm on-site. Allow enough time to depart for the fireworks venue after 5 PM. On the festival day, use public transportation for your return as roads become congested.
