A comprehensive museum and art gallery operated by Toyokawa City that broadly introduces regional culture, from archaeological materials to contemporary art. Located within walking distance from Toyokawa Inari Omote-Sandō, it's an ideal spot to spend time from afternoon to evening in a cool, air-conditioned space. You can view both special and permanent exhibitions, with interpretive displays for children also well-equipped. By taking a break in the air-conditioned building during the hot summer afternoon, you can prepare yourself physically for the evening fireworks viewing.
Tips
About 10 minutes walk from Toyokawa Inari Omote-Sandō. Admission fees vary by exhibition, so check the official website beforehand. Regular closing time is 5:00 PM, but may change during special exhibition periods. There is also an adjacent parking lot.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. In summer afternoons, cool off indoors while conserving energy for evening fireworks viewing.
