おぢやまつり大花火大会は、毎年多くの来場者が訪れる小千谷市の夏の大イベントです。信濃川の広い川幅を舞台に約7,000発が打ち上がり、大玉花火が夜空に大きく開く迫力は格別です。河川敷からは打ち上げ地点が間近に見え、花火の音と光が体に直接響いてくる臨場感があります。川面に映る花火の反射が作り出す光景は、川辺の花火大会ならではの美しさです。越後の山並みに囲まれた盆地の夜空に開く大輪の花火は、都市部の花火大会とは異なる雄大なスケールを感じさせます。1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、忘れられない夏の夜です。

Located about 5 minutes by car from Ojiya Interchange and also easily accessible from downtown. On the day of the fireworks festival, visitor numbers increase from evening onwards, so the late morning to early afternoon hours are best for browsing at your leisure. It's reassuring to purchase souvenirs and light snacks during daytime hours.
