As one of tonight's fireworks viewing venues, the highlight of this course is to arrive early, secure your spot, and enjoy the sunset. Spread out takeout food and wait leisurely, and you'll experience the luxury of watching the sky's expression transform from sunset to fireworks. SEAPORT CHATAN CARNIVAL（シーポートちゃたんカーニバル）は、2026年7月22日(水)から9月26日(土)にかけて毎週火・土曜を中心に複数日開催される、北谷町の夏を彩る花火イベントです。会場は東シナ海に面したデポアイランド・ボードウォークと北谷公園サンセットビーチで、打ち上げ開始は20時。海の上に開く花火は障害物がなく視界が広がり、潮風と波の音の中で楽しむ南国ならではの花火体験です。沖縄の夜空に映える花火の色彩は格別で、連日夏の夜に打ち上がる花火がエリア全体を明るく染めます。旅の夜を締めくくるにふさわしい、特別な時間をお楽しみください。

開催可否や時刻変更は主催者の公式情報で当日必ず確認してください。終了後は北谷町周辺の国道58号線が混雑します。駐車場から出るまで時間がかかることを想定し、余裕を持ったプランを。荷物は最小限にして、帰路は十分に安全に気をつけて。
Tips
About 5 minutes on foot from Mihama American Village. On the day of the fireworks festival, the beach becomes crowded after evening—arriving in the 4 PM hour to secure a spot is recommended. At night, the sea breeze cools things down, so bring a light wrap. Dining shops around the beach get crowded, so prepare food early for peace of mind.
Best time to visit
Approximately 3 hours required. The hour around sunset is especially beautiful as the colors of sky and sea shift.
