This beach, adjacent to the ANA InterContinental Manza Beach Resort, is also the stage for tonight's fireworks viewing. White sand and a cobalt blue sea spread out here, and you can even catch a glimpse of Okinawa's clear underwater world by snorkeling. Getting a feel for the sea's atmosphere during the day, before returning for the fireworks in the evening, makes choosing your spot at night smoother. Simply relaxing in the shade of the palm trees is enough to savor a moment true to a tropical resort.
Tips
Check the resort facility's rules when using the beach. If entering the water, follow the lifeguards' instructions and watch your step to avoid damaging the coral. The summer sun is intense, so a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential. Checking the location of shower facilities in advance is also handy before viewing the fireworks in the evening.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 45 minutes. Enjoy the hours when the afternoon sun is highest by mixing in breaks in the shade.
