About this spot
A large urban park adjacent to the Urasoe Gusuku ruins, serving as Urasoe City's representative green recreation space. On the spacious lawn, children can run freely, and you can spend time relaxed in shaded benches. From the hilltop, you can see Urasoe's streets and the East China Sea; in the evening as the sun sets, the sky and sea turn orange in a beautiful view. It's relatively close to Urasoe Culture Park, the fireworks venue for tonight, and is an ideal spot to conserve energy while preparing for the evening move. With a play area, it's safe and enjoyable even for families with small children.

てだこポケットフェスタ〜浦添てだこまつり〜のフィナーレを飾る花火が、浦添カルチャーパーク上空に打ち上がります。地域の文化・芸術の発信拠点であるアイム・ユニバースてだこホールを舞台に繰り広げられるこの祭りは、浦添市を代表する秋の風物詩です。昼間の観光で「てだこ(太陽の子)」の歴史に触れてきた分、祭りの名前と花火の光が心の中で重なる特別な瞬間になるはずです。祭りの熱気が最高潮に達した夜空を彩る花火は、この1日をしめくくるにふさわしいクライマックスです。フィナーレの余韻を楽しんだら、混雑が落ち着くのを待ってからゆっくり帰路につきましょう。
Tips
花火は19:50〜20:00の予定。荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表を確認してください。終了後はゆいレール浦添前田駅方面への帰路が混み合うため、時間差での移動がおすすめです。足元が暗くなるので、スマホのライト機能や小型ライトを活用して安全に移動しましょう。

Within walking distance from Urasoe Gusuku ruins. Free parking available. Vending machines and restrooms are located in the park. Mosquitoes are common in the evening, so use insect repellent spray. On the festival day, parking lots around the park may be crowded, so it's reassuring to confirm transportation for your return in advance.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes required. Late afternoon after 4 PM when the sunset begins is a particularly beautiful viewing time from the observation point.
