Tomioka Port is the gateway to Ryuhoku Town and also the venue for tonight's fireworks festival - a working fishing harbor. Regular ferries to and from mainland Kumamoto come and go, and the unpretentious atmosphere of fishing boats lined up embodies the charm of Amakusa without being overly touristy. Walking along the coastline around the harbor, the sound of gentle waves and the scent of salt blend into the summer air, and time flows in a leisurely manner. You can also confirm the position of the seawall where fireworks will be launched tonight, which helps with finding spots for the evening. 2026年7月18日(土)20時10分から20時40分まで、富岡港船客待合所横の防波堤から打ち上げられる苓北じゃっと祭の花火大会です。約700発の花火が苓北の夜空を彩り、穏やかな港の海面に光が映って広がる様子は、小さな漁港ならではの親密な迫力があります。大規模大会のような人混みに揉まれることなく、家族でゆったりと花火を間近に感じられる距離感が苓北の花火の大きな魅力です。祭りのフィナーレを飾る連発が港の空を埋め尽くす瞬間、苓北の夏の夜は最高潮を迎えます。潮の香りと波音、そして花火の音が重なる30分間を、家族みんなでゆっくり味わってください。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は苓北町または大会主催者の公式発表で必ず確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が混雑することがあるため、フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するのがおすすめです。帰路は足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマートフォンのライトを活用して安全に移動しましょう。
