The seawall next to Tomioka Port Passenger Waiting Hall is the viewing area closest to the launch site of the Ryuhoku "Jatto Matsuri" Fireworks Festival. Arrive about an hour before the show, spread out your leisure sheet, and secure your spot. Tomioka Port at dusk presents a completely different beautiful face from daytime, as the sun's rays slanting westward paint the sea surface. As the lights of fishing boats begin to gently twinkle and the scent of salt fills the air, the atmosphere of the harbor night deepens - a quiet luxury not found at fireworks festivals in major cities. 2026年7月18日(土)20時10分から20時40分まで、富岡港船客待合所横の防波堤から打ち上げられる苓北じゃっと祭の花火大会です。約700発の花火が苓北の夜空を彩り、穏やかな港の海面に光が映って広がる様子は、小さな漁港ならではの親密な迫力があります。大規模大会のような人混みに揉まれることなく、家族でゆったりと花火を間近に感じられる距離感が苓北の花火の大きな魅力です。祭りのフィナーレを飾る連発が港の空を埋め尽くす瞬間、苓北の夏の夜は最高潮を迎えます。潮の香りと波音、そして花火の音が重なる30分間を、家族みんなでゆっくり味わってください。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は苓北町または大会主催者の公式発表で必ず確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が混雑することがあるため、フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するのがおすすめです。帰路は足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマートフォンのライトを活用して安全に移動しましょう。

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from Michi-no-Eki Ryuhoku, within walking distance of Tomioka Port. The seawall surface is hard, so a thick leisure sheet or folding cushion would be comfortable. Use the restrooms at the passenger waiting hall early. Just before the show crowds gather, so it's recommended to be seated by 8 PM with time to spare.
