From 8:10pm to 8:40pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026, the fireworks of the Reihoku Jatto Festival are launched from the breakwater beside the Tomioka Port Passenger Terminal (富岡港船客待合所). As the fireworks color Reihoku's night sky, the way their light reflects and spreads across the calm harbor surface has an intimate power unique to a small fishing port. Not having to fight through the crowds of a large-scale festival, and being able to feel the fireworks up close as a family, is one of the great charms of Reihoku's fireworks.
