The roadside station "Shirayamasan" in Hakusan City is a regional hub facility where fresh agricultural products and local specialty items grown in the Kaga Plain are available. Local rice, vegetables, and traditional Kaga food products are displayed in the direct-sales corner, and just looking at them whets your appetite. The food court features menus using local ingredients and is perfect for a light meal before the evening fireworks. You can also purchase souvenirs here, allowing you to return home without extra luggage after the fireworks. With ample parking, it's a convenient rest stop for families before the fireworks.

2026年8月1日(土)20時15分打ち上げ開始の北國大花火川北大会は、石川県能美郡川北町の手取川河川敷を会場に約20,000発が打ち上がる北陸最大級の花火大会です。広大な手取川の河川敷は視界を遮るものが少なく、頭上いっぱいに広がる花火をダイナミックに楽しめます。川面に映る花火の光が揺れる様子も、河川敷の花火大会ならではの美しさです。打上数の多さから生まれる連発の迫力と、加賀平野の夜空を染め上げるスターマインのスケール感は、北陸の夏を代表するにふさわしい体験です。川風と波音に包まれながら、今年の夏を締めくくる光と音の夜を家族で楽しみましょう。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は北國新聞社や大会公式の発表を当日確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と駐車場の出入りが大変混雑します。帰りは花火終了後しばらく河川敷で余韻を楽しみ、混雑が落ち着いてから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗い河川敷では小さなライトが役立ちます。

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Kinkensha Shrine, and 15-20 minutes by car to Kawakita Town where the venue is located. Parking is spacious. Summer produce can become scarce in the afternoon, so check for desired items early. On fireworks day, visiting at this time is less crowded than stopping by after evening.
