This is a waterside plaza developed along the Tedori River in Yamada-machi, Nomi City. It has a helipad and storehouses prepared for flood control, and on the grassy plaza you can enjoy strolling and walking while feeling the dynamic wind and sound of the Tedori River. The guidance facility also has an outdoor display of tame-ishi stones, essential to flood control, and a corner introducing the plants and animals found along the Tedori River. Claiming a spot from evening and waiting for the show to begin while spreading out the dinner you brought is a pleasure unique to summer fireworks festivals. The breeze crossing the riverside is cool, and the sunset view, as the water's surface shifts from orange to indigo as the day fades, is also worth seeing.
Tips
Parking around the venue gets crowded from early on. Make active use of public transportation or any temporary shuttle buses in operation. It's reassuring to check restroom locations while it's still light out. At night, the riverside breeze can make you feel chilly, so keep a light layer on hand. Since lines form at the food stalls before the show starts, it's recommended to get your dinner early.
Best time to visit
About 2 hours 30 minutes. Take your time enjoying the sky's transition from sunset to indigo along the riverside.
