A station located along National Route 8, extending out onto the Echizen coast. From the outdoor terrace and observation areas of the building, you can take in a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan, and on clear days, visibility extends all the way to the horizon. The gift shop is well-stocked with local seafood cuisine featuring fish and shellfish landed locally, as well as Fukui seafood processed products including Echizen crab. Start your journey with scenery and meals befitting the occasion, while heightening your sense of anticipation that Karakurajo Kaiyoku, tonight's fireworks venue, is just a short distance away. The spacious parking area makes it easy to access by personal vehicle, providing peace of mind for families.

Tips

About 10-15 minutes by car from Karakurajo Kaiyoku. The location along National Route 8 is easy to navigate. On fireworks day, surrounding roads become congested from late afternoon onward, so it's best to finish lunch here. Purchasing light snacks and drinks for dinner all at once at the gift shop will make things easier later.
