2026年7月25日(土)20時打ち上げ開始、南越前町・甲楽城海水浴場を舞台にした河野夏まつり花火大会です。約5,600発の花火が漆黒の日本海の夜空に次々と開き、波の音に重なる打ち上げ音が越前海岸の断崖に響きます。打ち上げ場所と浜辺の観覧エリアが近いため、光と音の迫力が直に体に伝わるのが越前海岸の花火大会の醍醐味。海面に映る花火の光が波とともに揺れる光景は、海辺の会場ならではの美しさです。フィナーレの連発が夜空を埋め尽くす瞬間は、この1日のすべてのクライマックスです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は南越前町の公式発表で必ず確認を。終了後は周辺道路が混雑するため、花火終了後しばらく浜辺で余韻を楽しんでから帰路につくと渋滞を避けやすくなります。帰りの浜辺や駐車場までの道は足元が暗くなるため、スマートフォンのライトや小型ライトがあると安全です。
Tips
About 5 minutes by car from the museum. During the bathing season, the parking lot gets congested, so early arrival is recommended. The sandy beach has areas mixed with pebbles, so marine shoes are comfortable. Bringing a vinyl bag for wet clothes will keep your luggage organized during fireworks viewing.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours 15 minutes required. This is the time of day when the sea's transparency is most beautifully showcased by afternoon light.
