About this spot

The area along the Asuwa River from Kida Bridge (木田橋) to Itagai Bridge (板垣橋) is known as a cherry blossom viewing spot in spring, but in summer it becomes a pleasant walking path with vibrant green trees. On the fireworks festival day, food stalls line the riverside, and the festive atmosphere builds from evening onward. The key to this course is to leisurely walk along the embankment while enjoying food stall cuisine for dinner, and to complete your viewing spot reservation before dusk. The changing colors of the river surface with the approaching sunset serve as an excellent prelude to the main fireworks. On the evening of the fireworks, viewers begin to gather, so arriving at the venue a bit early and spending time at a relaxed pace is recommended.

福井フェニックス花火は、2026年7月31日(金)19時30分から20時00分にかけて、福井市の足羽川河川敷・木田橋から板垣橋の間で開催される花火大会です。足羽川の川幅いっぱいに広がる夜空に打ち上がる花火は、川面に映る逆さ花火とともに楽しめる河川花火ならではの美しさがあります。桜並木で知られる足羽川沿いが、夏の夜は花火の光に照らされる特別な空間へと変わります。フィナーレに向けて連続して打ち上がる花火の光と音は、川辺の観覧だからこそ体全体で感じられる迫力です。夏の短い夜を惜しみながら、1日の締めくくりにふさわしい花火を楽しんでください。

Tips

開催可否は悪天候時に変更・中止になる場合があるため、当日は福井市または大会公式の発表を必ず確認してください。終了後は観覧客が一斉に動き出すため、周辺道路・駐車場は大変混雑します。公共交通機関を利用する場合はバスや電車の終電時刻を事前に確認し、余裕を持った計画を立てておきましょう。河川敷は終了後に足元が暗くなるため、小さなライトがあると安全です。

Tips

Approximately 15 minutes on foot or by car from Asuwayama Park. On the fireworks festival day, surrounding roads become congested, so public transportation is convenient. Most food stalls accept cash only, so prepare small change. Restrooms around the venue get crowded, so use them early.
