Surrounded by mountains, the Echizen Oono basin shows a beautiful moment as the mountain edges turn crimson at dusk and the river surface quietly reflects the colors. Tips

On the day of the fireworks festival, the area around the venue becomes crowded and parking lots fill up early. If using public transportation, use the JR Echimi-Hokusen Line and be sure to confirm the time of the last train home in advance. Insects tend to appear along the riverside in the evening, so don't forget insect repellent spray. Food stall availability varies; refer to past festival records.
