About this spot

A spacious riverside park developed in the lower reaches of the Onga River with grassy lawns and a walking path along the river. It's located right next to the Ashiya Bridge upstream area, which is the launch site for tonight's fireworks, allowing you to check the river topography and sight lines during the day. In the summer afternoon, river breezes blow through, and simply sitting in the shade and watching the river flow is a pleasant way to spend time. The wide lawn has plenty of space for children to run around, making it ideal for letting them burn off energy before the main fireworks event.

2026年7月25日(土)20時から21時まで、遠賀川河口一帯の芦屋橋上流で打ち上げられるあしや花火大会です。約5,000発の花火が夏の夜空に次々と開き、遠賀川の川面に映り込む逆さ花火とともに空と水面の両方で花火の世界が広がります。河口に近い広い川幅を活かした大玉や、フィナーレの連続打ちは見応え十分で、川沿いの河川敷から遮るものなく正面で楽しめるのがこの大会の魅力です。川風が心地よい夜の遠賀川で、夏の夜の1時間を花火とともに過ごしましょう。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は芦屋町の公式発表を当日確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路と駐車場が大混雑するため、花火終了後は少し時間をおいてから移動するか、徒歩でのアクセスルートを事前に確認しておくと安心です。帰り道の河川敷は足元が暗いため懐中電灯やスマートフォンのライトを活用しましょう。

Tips

Within walking distance from the downtown area of Ashiya Town. The parking area can start getting crowded from early in the day of the fireworks festival, so consider using public transportation or walking. There are some areas along the river with little shade, so consider bringing a folding umbrella or hat for sun protection.
