The riverside area near Ashiya Bridge upstream, close to tonight's fireworks launch site at the Onga River estuary, is the main viewing area. As evening arrives, the riverside becomes filled with people claiming spots, so arriving around 5 PM to spread out your leisure sheet is ideal timing. On the day of the fireworks festival, food stalls line the area around the venue, allowing you to enjoy your dinner while soaking up the summer festival atmosphere. The sight of the Onga River's surface turning in the colors of sunset is a prime viewing spot before the fireworks, so take time to leisurely enjoy the gradually changing sky colors. As night falls, the river breeze becomes refreshing, so prepare to bring out a light jacket during this time.

2026年7月25日(土)20時から21時まで、遠賀川河口一帯の芦屋橋上流で打ち上げられるあしや花火大会です。約5,000発の花火が夏の夜空に次々と開き、遠賀川の川面に映り込む逆さ花火とともに空と水面の両方で花火の世界が広がります。河口に近い広い川幅を活かした大玉や、フィナーレの連続打ちは見応え十分で、川沿いの河川敷から遮るものなく正面で楽しめるのがこの大会の魅力です。川風が心地よい夜の遠賀川で、夏の夜の1時間を花火とともに過ごしましょう。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は芦屋町の公式発表を当日確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路と駐車場が大混雑するため、花火終了後は少し時間をおいてから移動するか、徒歩でのアクセスルートを事前に確認しておくと安心です。帰り道の河川敷は足元が暗いため懐中電灯やスマートフォンのライトを活用しましょう。
