View approximately 5,000 fireworks across the Onga River surface
About this spot
The Ashiya Fireworks Festival, held from 8 PM to 9 PM on July 25, 2026 (Saturday), launches fireworks upstream of Ashiya Bridge throughout the Onga River estuary area. Approximately 5,000 fireworks burst open in the summer night sky, and along with the mirrored fireworks reflected on the Onga River surface, the fireworks world spreads across both the sky and water surface. Taking advantage of the wide river width near the estuary, large-caliber fireworks and the finale's rapid-fire bursts are impressive, and the charm of this festival is that you can enjoy them head-on without obstruction from the riverside. Spend one summer night hour with fireworks on the pleasant evening breeze along the Onga River.
