The left bank levee downstream of Honjo Bridge, the launch venue for the Miyawaka Cool Summer Fireworks Festival, is a wide riverbed adjacent to Inunaki River Riverside Park. Spreading out a leisure sheet from the evening to secure a spot and then relaxing while waiting for the show in the river breeze is part of the fun of this fireworks festival. As the sun sets, the color of the river's surface changes, and the growing bustle of food stalls around you creates the atmosphere of a summer festival itself. As it grows dark, watching the opposite bank and surrounding levees fill up with spectators also brings the excitement of a festival eve. Secure a spot with a good view of the river early, keeping the fireworks launch position in mind.

Tips

Parking around the venue gets crowded, so arriving early is necessary. Temporary restrooms are set up, but lines form, so use them early. Buying food at the stalls is recommended in the earlier hours before the fireworks start. There are many mosquitoes along the river, so don't forget insect repellent spray.
