The Miyawaka Cool Summer Fireworks Festival is held every summer at the left bank levee downstream of Honjo Bridge near Inunaki River Riverside Park, and it represents summer in Miyawaka City. In 2026, for one hour from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, about 3,000 fireworks color the night sky. Viewed from the open levee along the river, there is little to block the view, and the pairing of the fireworks with the light reflected on the river's surface is one of the highlights. In a warm atmosphere where local people gather, you can slowly enjoy each firework launched over the course of an hour. The moment the finale's barrage fills the night sky is sure to become the best memory of this summer.

In case of bad weather, the event is scheduled to be postponed to Thursday, July 23, so be sure to check in advance whether it will proceed through Miyawaka City's official announcements and event-related information. After it ends, roads around the venue get congested, so it's recommended to leave home by car at a staggered time. On the way back, the footing on the levee is dark, so use your smartphone light or a small flashlight to move safely. Please be sure to take all trash home with you.
