The Miyawaka Natsukaze Fireworks Festival is held annually in summer at the embankment on the left bank downstream from Shinjojo Bridge near Inunaki River Park, representing Miyawaka City's signature summer event. In 2026, approximately 3,000 fireworks will light up the night sky from 8 PM to 9 PM. The fireworks viewed from the open embankment along the river have little obstruction, and the interplay of light reflected on the river surface is one of the beautiful highlights. Amid the warm atmosphere of people from the community gathering, you can leisurely enjoy each of the fireworks launched over the course of an hour. Tips

Please always confirm in advance with official Miyawaka City announcements and festival-related information whether the event will be held in case of bad weather. After the event, roads around the venue become congested; staggered departures by car are recommended. The embankment is dark after the show, so use your smartphone flashlight or a small light to move safely. Please take all trash with you.

Best time to visit

From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM during the scheduled event time. Please arrive 30 minutes early to secure a viewing spot where the river is visible.
