This community park within Motomiya City is a spot beloved by families, equipped with a wide lawn plaza and play equipment. It's also close to the Abukuma River riverbed, the fireworks venue, making it convenient as a waypoint on the way to the riverbed in the evening. It's ideal as a place for children to move around freely before the fireworks festival, and a nap or play on the lawn can help charge up energy to stay lively through the evening's fireworks. Even just relaxing in the tree shade makes for a pleasant time in the summer riverside breeze.

Tips

Within Motomiya City, less than about 5 minutes by car from the Abukuma River riverbed. Admission is free. Summer sunlight is strong, so don't forget sun protection. To secure a spot for the evening fireworks, leaving the park for the riverbed around 4:45 p.m. gives you time to spare.
