In September, after summer beach season ends, visitor numbers drop, allowing you to secure spacious viewing areas on the broad sandy beach. At dusk, the sand is painted in beautiful light as the sun sinks into the Pacific, turning the ocean orange. Watch leisurely from your leisure sheet as daylight transitions into night and the ocean transforms. September evenings can have cool sea breezes, so have a light jacket ready for comfort.

大洗サンビーチを舞台に繰り広げられる、約20,000発の大規模花火大会です。遮るものがない太平洋の広い空いっぱいに開く花火は、内陸の花火大会とはまったく違う開放感があります。海の上で炸裂する大輪の花火は音の反響も豊かで、砂浜に座って見上げると光と音が体全体に届く迫力。スターマインや尺玉など多彩なプログラムが夜空を彩り、フィナーレに向けて次々と打ち上がる連発は観覧客を大いに沸かせます。9月の夜の海風とともに楽しむ、大洗の1年で最も盛大な夜です。

Tips

開催時間は当日の公式発表で確認してください(時間未定)。荒天時の中止・延期は大会公式の情報に従ってください。終了後は周辺道路と駐車場が大変混雑するため、帰りは花火終了から少し時間を置いてから移動するか、大洗駅方面への徒歩ルートを事前に確認しておきましょう。足元が暗いので、スマホのライトやヘッドライトがあると安心です。

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from Oarai Machinaka Shopping Street, or about 15 to 20 minutes on foot. On the festival day, parking fills early, so using public transportation or parking early is recommended. Check public restrooms near the beach in advance and use them before the show starts. Always take away any food and drink waste from the beach.
