Sasebo Park, located in Sasebo's city center near the venue at the Sasebo City Comprehensive Grounds, is a spacious park beloved as a gathering place for local residents. It features open grassy areas where you can easily spread a leisure sheet and sit comfortably. On the evening of the fireworks festival, food stalls often line the surroundings, making this a smart place to grab dinner for a quick meal before the show. As the sun sets, temperatures begin to drop—a good time to pull out a light jacket. Noting the locations of restrooms while it's still light will make the evening more comfortable.

Within walking distance to the Sasebo City Comprehensive Grounds Athletics Stadium venue. Secure drinks and snacks early (surrounding convenience stores and shops become crowded after dusk). Always take your trash with you.
