Since Suwa sits in a basin surrounded by mountains, temperatures drop in the evening and beyond, so have a light jacket easily accessible for comfort. 諏訪湖祭湖上花火大会は、毎年8月15日に開催される諏訪の夏の最大の祭典です。諏訪湖の湖上から打ち上げられる花火は、四方を山に囲まれた盆地の地形によって音が反響し、体の芯まで響く大迫力。静かな湖面に映る「逆さ花火」の美しさも、湖上花火大会ならではの見せ場です。夜空を彩る花火と山々のシルエット、そして湖面に広がる光の競演は、信州の夏を締めくくるにふさわしいスケールの光景。フィナーレに向けて次々と打ち上がる連発の迫力は圧巻で、この夏いちばんの思い出になるはずです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は大会公式発表で事前に確認を。終了後はJR上諏訪駅および周辺道路が非常に混雑します。フィナーレ後はすぐに動かず、湖畔で余韻を楽しんでから時間差で帰宅するのがおすすめです。足元が暗い場所もあるため、小さなライトを持っておくと安心です。
Tips
It is recommended to purchase drinks and light snacks early. After early evening, vendors and stalls become extremely crowded and items may sell out. Nearby convenience stores also begin to get congested after early afternoon. Always place trash in a bag you bring with you and take it with you.
