信州千曲市千曲川納涼煙火大会は、戸倉上山田温泉千曲川河畔の大正橋から万葉橋の間を会場に開かれる、長野県を代表する夏の花火大会です。約10,000発の花火が次々と夜空に打ち上がり、山あいの盆地に音が反響して体の芯まで響く大迫力。千曲川の静かな川面に映る逆さ花火の美しさも、川沿いならではの名物です。温泉地の情緒ある夜景を背景に、信州の夏の夜空を彩る光の競演は、フィナーレの連発が空と川を丸ごと照らすクライマックスまで目が離せません。川のせせらぎと花火の音が重なる1時間30分は、都会では味わえない信州ならではの夏の記憶になります。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は千曲市または大会公式の発表で事前に確認しましょう。終了後は周辺の道路や駐車場が大変混み合います。フィナーレ後は河畔で少し余韻を楽しんでから時間差での帰宅がおすすめ。しなの鉄道・戸倉駅方面への帰り道は足元が暗い箇所があるため、小さなライトを携帯すると安全です。

About 5 to 10 minutes' walk from Shinano Railway Togura Station (信州鉄道・戸倉駅). Check the location and operating hours of foot baths at the hot spring area's information boards or the tourism association. On fireworks day, surrounding streets get crowded from evening onward, so decide on parking location early. Taking a hot spring bath on the return trip after the fireworks is also an option.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. As evening approaches and temperatures cool slightly, strolling becomes more comfortable.
