The Suzaka City Cool Summer Fireworks Festival is an event in which fireworks launched from Dodogawa Riverside Park color the summer night sky. Tips

In case of bad weather, the event will be canceled or postponed, so be sure to check Suzaka City's official announcement on the day for whether it will go ahead. After the show, the road toward Nagano Dentetsu Suzaka Station becomes congested. It is smoother to enjoy the lingering atmosphere within the park for a while after the finale before spreading out to leave. It is dark underfoot on the way back, so make use of a flashlight.
