On fireworks night, viewing spots fill up starting in the evening, so arriving between 5:00 and 5:30 PM is recommended. Procure food and drinks from the stalls before the show starts (they get crowded afterward). Check the locations of restrooms, including temporary ones in the park, in advance. The return path to Nagano Railway Suzaka Station will be congested, so plan with extra time.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes required. The twilight scenery along the river before and after sunset is a unique pleasure of this venue.
