Stretching just west of Nojiri Lake, Kurohime Highland is a vast plateau landscape spreading across the foothills of Kurohime Mountain. In summer, you can enjoy verdant pastureland and colorful alpine plants in full bloom. A walk through the crisp air makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The panoramic views of the Northern Five Peaks (北信五岳) including Kurohime Mountain and Myoko Mountain are breathtakingly open, with sprawling grasslands perfect for children to run about. Just 10 minutes by car from Nojiri Lake, it's the perfect area to spend plenty of afternoon time before returning to the lakeshore in the evening. 2026年7月25日(土)19時30分から20時30分にかけて、信濃町・野尻湖上で開催される花火大会です。湖の上から打ち上がる約2,000発は、四方を囲む黒姫山や妙高山などの山々に音が反響し、体の芯まで響く迫力があります。静かな湖面に映り込む「逆さ花火」の美しさは湖上花火ならではの名物で、空と水面の両方で花火が開く光景は見る者を圧倒します。街明かりの少ない高原の夜空に大きく開く花火は、都市部の花火とは比べものにならない星空との競演も魅力のひとつ。涼しい夜風とともに楽しむ1時間は、夏の信濃町の最高のクライマックスです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は信濃町の公式発表で当日確認してください。終了後は湖畔周辺の道路と駐車場が混雑するため、車の場合は時間差での移動がおすすめです。夜の湖畔は照明が少なく足元が暗いため、小さなライトを手元に用意しておきましょう。高原の夜は真夏でも気温が下がるので、羽織ものは必ず持参してください。

Tips

Approximately 10-15 minutes by car from the Nojiri Lake lakeshore. In summer, Kurohime Highland also operates cosmos gardens and camping facilities. Be sure not to forget a hat and sunscreen as the highland sun is strong. Plan your timing to return to the Nojiri Lake lakeshore before around 5 PM.
