The Hirosaki Station area is home to numerous restaurants and eateries where you can easily enjoy Tsugaru soba, scallop miso-grilled dishes, and desserts using apples—sampling Aomori and Tsugaru cuisine. While food stalls around the fireworks venue will also buzz on the night of the festival, dining here is your last chance to sit down and enjoy a proper meal. Fueling up thoroughly before heading to the venue is key to comfortably enjoying the lengthy fireworks display. After your meal, stock up on drinks and snacks at a convenience store to prepare for the venue.

Tips

From Hirosaki Station to the venue (Iwaki River Riverbed Athletic Park, Akuto District) is about 10-15 minutes by car. On the day of the fireworks, parking lots around the venue fill up quickly, so move from the station early or check shuttle bus and shared taxi information in advance.
