沼津夏まつり・狩野川花火大会は、2026年7月25日(土)から26日(日)にかけて開催される、静岡県東部を代表する夏の一大イベントです。狩野川の水面の上に開く約12,000発の花火は、川幅を生かしたワイドなスターマインや水中花火など多彩な演出が続き、音と光が川岸一帯を包みます。永代橋からあゆみ橋にかけての両岸どこからでも大迫力の花火を間近に楽しめるのがこの大会の魅力です。川面に映る色とりどりの光の帯と、頭上で開く大輪の競演は、1日の締めくくりにふさわしいクライマックス。夜空を埋め尽くすフィナーレの連発が終わったら、川風の余韻をゆっくり楽しんでから帰路につきましょう。

荒天時の開催可否は沼津市の公式発表および大会公式情報で確認してください。終了後はJR沼津駅・伊豆箱根鉄道沼津駅周辺が大変混み合います。終了直後は河川敷で少し時間をおいてから移動すると混雑を緩和できます。帰りの電車・バスの時刻は事前に調べ、乗り遅れに注意しましょう。足元が暗くなるため、スマートフォンのライト機能を活用してください。

Approximately 10 minutes by bus from JR Numazu Station, or about 25 minutes on foot. The area near Numazu Port's large observation water gate "Byuo" (びゅうお) is the center of the dining district. On weekends during lunch hours, popular restaurants may have lines, so arriving just after opening or after 1 PM makes it easier to get a table. Consider purchasing dried fish in bulk as souvenirs on your way back.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. The daytime port is lively, and this is the time when you can enjoy the sea's bounty most affordably.
