Tips

Check the official Numazu City announcement and official event information for possible cancellations due to bad weather. After the event ends, JR Numazu Station and Izuhakone Railway Numazu Station areas become very congested. Waiting a while on the riverbed after the end helps alleviate congestion. Check train and bus schedules in advance and be mindful not to miss your ride. Since the ground becomes dark, use your smartphone's light function.
