The Bentenjima Fireworks Display, held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, launches about 1,000 shells above Bentenjima, where Enshu Sea meets Lake Hamana. Watching fireworks from an open beach surrounded by the scent of the sea and the sound of waves offers a different kind of openness than an urban fireworks display. The sight of the silhouette of the vermillion torii gate, Bentenjima's symbol, overlapping with fireworks blooming in the night sky is a special scene unique to this location.
