You can stroll on foot from JR Tadotsu Station toward the port. The midsummer sun is strong during the day, so a hat and staying hydrated are essential. There are public restrooms around the port, but they get crowded from evening onward on the day of the fireworks festival, so it's reassuring to check their location during this time.
