Around Tadotsu Port, the venue for the fireworks festival, viewers start gathering as evening approaches. Tips

Nearby parking lots fill up early on the day of the festival. Walking from JR Tadotsu Station to the port is the surest way to get there. Food stalls open from before evening, but popular items sell out quickly. It's reassuring to bring extra drinks. Use the restroom early, before it gets crowded.

Best time to visit

About 2 hours. The sunset over the Seto Inland Sea around dusk is the most beautiful time of the whole day.
