The restaurant on the grounds offers set meals and donburi featuring fish and seafood caught in Tosa's waters—ideal for a local lunch experience. The Shimizu River, a clear stream, flows beside the building, and the facility's name is affectionately known after the Japanese river otter, a Kochi specialty. On the day of the fireworks festival, the facility tends to get crowded after evening, so it's wise to enjoy your meal and souvenir shopping leisurely during the daytime hours. The shop carries beloved take-home items such as Kochi bonito flakes and local sake.

2026年8月1日(土)20時から、富士ヶ浜の沖合から打ち上げられる須崎市納涼花火大会です。約2,000発の花火が須崎湾の夜空に次々と大輪を咲かせ、波の音に重なる打ち上げ音が浜辺全体に響き渡ります。海面に映る花火の光と、潮の香りを帯びた夜風が、この場所ならではの花火体験を作り出します。地元須崎の夏を締めくくる大切な納涼行事として、地域の人々に長く親しまれてきた大会です。フィナーレに向かうにつれて連発が増し、最後の大玉が夜空に開いた瞬間の余韻は、砂浜でしか味わえないものです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は須崎市の公式発表で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が混み合うため、花火の余韻を浜辺でしばらく楽しんでから帰るのがおすすめです。足元が暗い砂浜では転倒に注意し、スマホのライトを活用しましょう。ゴミは必ず各自持ち帰ってください。

About 5 minutes by car from Kochi Expressway Susaki-East IC, and about 10 minutes by car from Susaki Station. The parking lot is generously sized. To avoid congestion in the restaurant, arrival at noon is recommended. Storing souvenir purchases in your car allows for lighter mobility until the evening fireworks.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. Arriving before lunch rush will allow you to enter without waiting.
