About 2,000 fireworks bloom one after another into the night sky over Susaki Bay, and the launch sounds mixing with the sound of the waves resonate across the entire beach. The light of the fireworks reflected on the sea's surface, combined with the salt-scented night breeze, creates a fireworks experience unique to this place. Long cherished by the local community as an important summer send-off event for Susaki, this display has a long history. Check Susaki City's official announcements for cancellation in case of severe weather. Roads around the venue get congested after the show ends, so it's recommended to enjoy the afterglow on the beach for a while before heading home. Watch your step on the dark beach after sunset, and make use of your phone's flashlight. Please be sure to take all trash home with you.
